If you have been sexually abused

If you are an incest or childhood sexual abuse survivor, you are not alone.

No matter what your experience has been – whether you have been abused by a close family member, a distant relative or by someone who was not part of your family, whether you remember clearly what happened or you don’t, whether you feel pain, confusion, loneliness, anger, guilt or nothing at all, whether you felt aroused during the abuse or you didn’t – there are others who have had similar experiences and feel and think in similar ways.

If you are an incest or childhood sexual abuse survivor, it is possible to recover from the  effects of abuse and deal effectively with the disturbances they creates in your life.  You can do this in a variety of ways depending on what feels right for you at this stage and we can help you through this process if you want.

You could email us at counsellor@rahifoundation.org and get in touch with our counsellor with any specific issue you want to discuss or simply contact us for any information you want. If you live in Delhi, you could come in for an individual counselling session or sign up for our groups

You could contribute to our Survivor’s Page or Get Involved with us as a volunteer and help us in our efforts to prevent sexual abuse from happening to others and reach out to those who have been abused.
