Research & Communication
A significant area of RAHI’s work has been in Research & Communications. Our research work focuses on providing evidence of the problem of incest/CSA in the Indian context. We gather such evidence from survivors who avail of our support services as well as through generating research projects. One of the unique features of our research work is that we compile the existing data that emerge form our support work with survivors as well as from our other programmes and disseminate it to a larger audience. We focus on both qualitative and quantitative research.
Our communication work focuses on mainstreaming the issue of incest/CSA and brining it out in the larger public domain. It is aimed to draw and sustain public attention on this issue through using a variety of communication means that are acceptable to our audience. These range from posters, postcards, brochures, ribbons to public events, films, publications and theatre.
