This August, the International Center for Research on Women invited RAHI to conduct another one-day teacher training workshop for teachers from the Jharkhand District in Ranchi as a part of their ongoing GEMS (Gender Equity Movement in Schools) project. Elementary school teachers, GEMS field supervisors and project managers from ICRW were all present at our training on 'How to identify and intervene in incest/CSA'.
This was part of ICRW's initiative to engage young girls and boys to discuss and critically reflect on the issues related to inequitable gender norms and violence.
